Oral history interview with Pang Ngia Vang [sound recording] / interviewed by Chuck Lee. 1991.

Vang discusses her experiences as a Hmong growing up in Laos and Thailand during the Vietnamese Conflict. She describes family life, escaping Laos and living in Thai refugee camps, and immigrating to the United States. She details her efforts to adjust to the school system and American society and explains some differences between Hmong and American culture. She also describes her travel to Thailand through a student exchange program.
